WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A man facing his fifth DWI in New Hanover County could also be facing deportation, according to Assistant District Attorney Jon David.
Isaias Garcia, 28, is accused of driving his SUV through the Dairy Queen off Oleander Drive earlier this month.
Police say Garcia was drunk and driving with a revoked license. He’s charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, and habitual DWI charges.
David confirms that Garcia is an illegal immigrant and he says he’ll be working with federal authorities to deport him.
